The first designed meadow covered most of one of the three lots with native wildflowers. However, in the bigger plan, the space under the trees is filled with more meadows. We intend to stop mowing theses areas for about two years and see what comes up. We will also mow the walking path through this natural meadow. In a few years, we may intentionally plant more native pollinating items to support wildlife.

• November 2023 - Last mow of back two lots

• February 2024 - No-mow areas flagged for lawn maintenance contractors, and prayer path tightly mown

• Summer 2024 - First two pollinator gardens installed and maintained

• Spring 2025 - Contracted with our landscape crew to mow the path only in the lower two lots.

• Fall 2025 - Knock down meadow to prevent Johnson grass and some other invasives.
