The project imagines 20-25 mature native evergreens, shade trees, and ornamentals. This phase extends the planting of the next 10-15 trees through the rest of the space, as trees or funds are available or donated, We intend for the full tree canopy to expand the biodiversity and make this space an amazing sanctuary.

Progress: In Process

• May 2024 - Extend irrigation from church lots to project lots, for three frost prevention spigots

• October 2024 - Last planting day of native trees

• Summer 2025 - Installed protective cages around first round of trees to prevent any further damage from deer.

• Spring/Summer 2026 - Next installation of trees with necessary protection and watering schedule.
