The great reformers met down at the pub and debated scripture and theology. Together, in the common spaces with everyday folk, they realized errors in their interpretation of scripture, or their practice of religion. We continue that tradition by gathering in a local pub and doing some serious theological work. This season, we are studying Amy Jill Levines book “Jesus for Everybody” Heads up, we will tackle socio-political topics of today through Jesus, but we share a pint and appetizers while we do it.
