Phase 1B : Entrance Meadow

A native wildflower meadow is an essential ingredient in the stew of nature. Pollinators need safe diverses settings like this to help us the circle of life continue. The next part of Phase 1 dedicates a large potion of one of the three lots to a new native wildflower meadow.

Progress:

  • July 2023 - Meadow dimensions confirmed and flagged, bids for meadow project received, and contractor chosen.

  • September 2023 - Ground mowed tight and an organic herbicide called Finalsan used to remove the turf grass and prepare the soil for the flowers seeds.

  • February 2024 - Second preparation of the space completed, and almost ready for seeding.
